The Biggest Stressor of the Year is Coming

Dec 3, 2016 at 13:21

Christmas is coming and for many it is a hard time. Stress from not being able to provide for family and friends to unresolved traumas, left festering from childhood affect many. While many play happy families lots of lies and deceits continue.

Reading a book on the Templars recently brought to my attention that religious scholars are fully aware it is not the birthday of the man they call Jesus. That is one pretty big lie.

If you are not coping try some simple tools.

Drink water instead of alcohol, eat less and stay away from the sugar.

If you really can not face the family, don't. There are times in our lives we simply have to put ourselves first.

If it is all to much go bush, get out the tent or caravan, etc, and get away from it all.

Practice gratitude and as best as possible aim to in still the good qualities of the festive season and live in gratitude.

Most of us have more reasons to feel good about our lives than we realise. If you can't find any. make them up. Look for any healthy way to feel good now.

The celebration may be built on a lie but the message still rings true, Good will to all men.
